do you guys have any experience with either of these bikes?
Search for a CLEAN, LOW Mile 998... then modify it a bit and have the most beautiful bike ever made... that handles and is fast enough.
or get the 848...

i owned an 04 R1. awesome bike.
buy a ducati if you enjoy paying more for parts/service while looking like a eurofag, all while being slower than the jap bikes.
oh, and buy a buell. now johnny has nothing to add.

going slower? in what way? maybe 1/4mi.. but who the ---- cares? i know you cant push either bike to its limit on a curvy road or a course... and either can I... or anyone else I know.. so it doesnt matter.. if you have ridden a ducati you would know where I'm coming from...
