Default *ATTENTION*Anybody who got pictures from me of gauge cluster**

UPDATE-This matter has been resolved and both parties are happy now. Thanks to all who replied and yesd0g for understanding.

I sold the gauge cluster I had for sale in the classified section on ebay. I shipped it out the next day after I received payment in great shape. It was used, but it was in a nice used condition. Well, I just got an email from the buyer saying it has overspray and large scratches and he wanted to let me know before he leaves feedback. This was his email:
Received the guage cluster today, and found that there is overspray
on the left hand side of the window, and a couple of good scratches. One
on the left center over the tach, and a cluster lower right center over
the speedometer. I don't remember reading anything contrary to the
condition of the Piece. I can probably take it to work and buff out the
overspray, and clean up the scratches, make them less noticeable, for
now I used the window off my old gauges. I just want to let you have a
chance to respond before give any feedback to Ebay.

Well, the worst part is the buyer is a member of this site. I'm not going to name names, but damn. WTF?

Anyways, please email me any pictures I may have sent any of the members here of the gauge cluster. I have a lot of them, but I know I sent some good ones to some members here. I need some evidence here. This is wrong.

Oh yeah, my ebay feedback was perfect until now. I guess I was bound to run into someone like this. That sucks.

Ebay? ----, why don't you just settle it here, buster. I have bought from Dr.Boost and he's great. Obviously if he's posting to help take care of the problem, he's not a scammer. Negative feedback before attempting to take care of something with an HMT member is wack, especially when its a member in such good standing.

Thanks Stealthmode.

Here is one picture I got of the cluster.

From what you can see in the picture it is in great shape. I need some more at a different angle. I have so many different picturetrail accounts I can't remember where they all were. They get canceled all the time. If I can find the right one I'll pay the registration so i can have access to those pictures.

Here is the ebay auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2430151508

In my defense, the auction didn't state the condition of the lense and he didn't ask. Not that this was part of my "scam" or whatever, but that's fucked up. I think he wants some money back and this is his way of getting a better deal. That's pretty shitty if you ask me. If I have to take a negative for this I'm going to be pissed. I have never ripped anybody off and don't plan on it. I know I have sold to many people on this board that can verify the parts they got were of good quality. I know I have sold to several people on Honda-Tech and they were ALL happy. I guess you can't please everybody.

No, Im not trying to get a better deal, If you would like Ill just ship the gauges back to you, and In my defense, any picture you take of the gauges without light to reflect off the lens wont show the overspray, or the scratches. The angle of the lens is designed so that there wont be a reflection when looking through it. If I knew how, I would post the pictures I took of the lens. I just thought that after paying what I did for them, that they would be in better shape, and was dissapointed.

How am I supposed to know you didn't just swap the lense? How ---- are you going to get holding it under a magnifying glass? I never noticed any of these scratches or any overspray in the 6-8 months that I was driving around with it. I never even painted anything to get overspray on it. I really can't understand how all of the sudden it ended up with all this damage when I never seen any of it.

It was your bid that you placed and the auction didn't state the condition of the lense. I admit that it should have, but I forgot to include that. If the condition of the lense was so very important, why didn't you ask BEFORE you bid over $100 on it?

Ya know this is the first time Ive bought anything on ebay. and to prove its not a scam, I left you positive feedback, so you dont have to feel responsible for anything if you dont want to. I didnt expect to have to swap lenses to use them. granted I could have used them in their condition. But I wouldnt have liked it. Like I said in the email I wrote you, Ill just end up taking It to work tomarrow cleaning it up, and buffing the scratches out.

I really don't think it had to be all this. People get completely taken on Ebay and other sites all day long where they NEVER even see any kind of product. And we're discussing a couple scratches that, "can't be seen while looking straight into it?" I don't know about you, but that's the only way I see my gauges.

Well, thanks for not ruining my feedback. Like I said, I swear I never noticed any of this damage that you mentioned. I don't know how I couldn't have noticed any of that. It seems very hard to believe considering how long I sat in front of it while driving.

I'll talk to you via email.
