My .48/.60 T3 either says M10 or M24 on the compressor housing, forgot which one.

my old garrett t3/t4 also had m24 on the cover, so I think its just a garrett series

It has to do with the composition of the compressor housing alloy, IIRC. I probably don't, which is why *I* haven't said what Mxx means.
