Default $800 for a 92 RS v6 camaro?

There is a guy locally with a 92 v6 camaro which needs paint, new t tops, and driver seat. The milage is unknown and the tach/speedometer doesnt work. Is that a good deal/ok/bad? I have a spare turbo and at the boneyard today I found an cold start injector on an old audi. I figure through on a turbo and slap on a cold start injector that will spray fuel in boost and see how long the motor lasts. I'd rather have a v8 though.

Eh, atleast its an upgrade from the old 2.8's they used to put in there... 140 hp stock, wowzers lol

there was a few FWD 3.1's turbocharged from the factory and they were like 170 hp. So good luck :P

leaky intake manifold gaskets FTL. If the coolant bottle is fully of oil chunks I`d point it out and lowball the hell out of him.

Oh yeah btw, dexcool is the shittiest coolant ever...

id say pick it up because its a chevy and a 305/350 will bolt right up as long as it has a 5 speed, or a 350/700r4 trans. go for it. parts are dime a dozen. i found 4 trans ams and 2 camaros at the local junkyard today. found me a nice little addition to my TA ive had hell finding. also got a ait sensor off a fucked wagovan that i needed. to bad it was in such a bad condition(rollover), couldve used more parts though oh well.

It won't "bolt right up", he needs the mounts from a small block.

Its an automatic (blah), I havnt owned one of those since I was in high school. the tranny is a 700r4, but i dont think the auto tranny for the 6's swap to the 8. I'd swap 350 in there any day motor, but I dont want to swap a tranny and rear end. I'm far to busy right now.

the trannies will bolt up to the v8's. 700r4 is a very common transmission. the rearend might suck, but I'm sure it can take a pounding from a 350 for atleast a while lol.
