Re: $40 Paintjob
wetsand with 400 and buff it up, will get rid of any spray marks and it will be shiny. Get some decent res/close ups. How are we supposed to see the paint in tiny pictures from 40ft.
I did that with rustoleum. Total cost was~$150 for all materials. I scuffed it down to base metal/primer with a scotch-brite (red) on an air drill. Fixed up the dings with some bondo, rattle primer, sand, green. I wet sanded and polished the bumper to see what would happen and it turned an awesome dark (between forest & british racing) green that was really shiny. Didn't think it would happen since used 'ultra-flat camo green'

There doesn't seem to be any gloss at all on any of them. All of it looks...plain.

Re: $40 Paintjob
If you want gloss then pay hard earned money for it. if you want something that will be one tone and cover rust, then a rattle can is your tool.
Anyone who grabs the rattle can and expects anything more than a rattle can finish is a tard. its a rattle can, you will not get Maacco quality out of it and why would you want to shot clear or anything over it, it's rattle can job.
