Default $183 sunroof switch?

Yeah so the sunroof switch broke on my mom's car which is an 01 mazda millenia S. It's a nice car, 2.3 supercharged v6, gets up and goes pretty good. Anyway I went to the dealershit to buy a new switch for it, and when that punk *** kid told me 183.30 I just about flipped ----. I realize the car is discontinued, but seriously WTF? Even if you manufactured limited amounts of extras, I can't see 183 being a justified cost.

I do know a bit about manufacturing and cost, but I can't see it for this ------- plastic switch. Man, wtf should I do?

2000 Saturn LS1 with bad cat, dealership cost: $1200. Jimmy West of West's auto: $130.

That's a shame man. Absolutely disgusting.

clean the switch, resolder broken solder joints, check to see if it has any exploded resistors or anything on it.

I'd buy that in a heartbeat if it were gray...
