Well conserding has a young young man riding my skateboard to one of the OG builders shops and working for free his street carwas trapping at 104 mph all motor in a street car. No chipped ecu's at this time circa 1995. The car imo was around 185-190 whp to trap at those speeds at 2500 ft elevation. Car was run a stock p72 external larger fuel pump and rigged together fpr to get fuel pressure to 50 psi with vaccum. Stock block b18c1,port work. Anyone who swears Hondas have really evolved that much doesnt know their History.

Basically the dyno sheets jeff posted up.

Last I checked - two years ago - most of the mid-low 11 second NDRA street cars and a large number of the 10 second race cars were running stock GSR .bins (100% duty is 100% duty) with revlimits bumped/removed, 310-345cc injectors, and an AFC to dial things in. Nice thing for them is as they leaned out the fuel it'd simultaneously advance their timing 2-3 degrees. All 230-250 whp setups.

Yup. Chipped ecu is nice to set vtec/rev. Alot of people dont want to think about it but skunk2 did break into the 10's on a fields vtec controller and a stock p30 map with duty at 100 at wot. The real skunk2 bin thats the one that was in their drag car and what they sold for years before the chipped ecu world became open to the common man

Again things havent changed that much. Final closing Im a huge fan of itr/ctr cams and some nice port work but that will only have a nice useable power range. If you like 6000 vtec crossover and reving a stock top end motor to 9500 to impress the ignorant 19 year old in the passanger seat that their deal. The bigger cams the better right.

I'm not morally bankrupt like that. I feel like I have to be honest with them that they wasted a pile of money, and that they are stupid and shouldn't breed. For some reason people like rip off artists like yourself who do nothing but lie better than they like me. Go figure.
No lies here, I provide a service they ask for. I tell them they don't need it, but its their money and its worth it to them for piece of mind. Ultimately, there are only a handful of tuners in the UK. Alot of them are opting for $1000 dollar m$s$ tunes even with I/H/E b16's or fully built z6 turbo's running 7psi.

Plus, through doing this, i'm slowly getting a reputation, which lets me get my hands on more interesting cars.

Eh, I wasn't attacking you. I've understood for a long time now that my personal moral structure is incompatible with the real world and the common man trying to provide for his family. Aside from the car thing, I usually keep my mouth shut about what I think.

agree'd but there are people that do that. if somebody has a gsr swap and is trying to run a virgin p28 with it i normally chip it for cheap and burn the stock gsr bin just so they have the right program to start with. it's normally cheaper then finding a p72
