Default A WARNER IHI TURBO IS ON MY 88 PORSCHE 924S

Hi Guys my first post here, I picked up this 88 Porsche 924S ( it basically is a narrow body 944 ) and it has this IHI Turbo setup. MAF stamped Ford Inner Cooler stamped Ford some guys took a look and thought it was off a Mustang. I can't seem to get any numbers off the turbo. The casting does say Warner IHI. I found the IHI turbo site that shows some dimensions I could probably get the sixe by taking some measurements.

what do you think ? I bought this car not running It had a blown Head gasket owner tried to install a new head gasket and timing slipped at last minute and he tightened the cam tower down bending a valve. he got a new head gasket but never re pulled the head.
I may just sell off all these turbo parts and part the car.

Default mustang thunderbird turbo

Yes I know that , the 88 924S has 10:1 compression so someone was really pushing it when they put that turbo on it. I sold off all the parts but still have the turbo if anyone wants it.

First $40 + fedex at cost ships from NC --email autotech@nc.rr.com
