Default Two lines going to the wastegate

I just bought two 6psi wastegates and they each have two lines, one at the top (I assume atmosphere) and one at the bottom (I assume boost pressure). The only instructions say to "add air to control boost" to the top port.

My understanding of a wastegate and cheap boost controller was that I would run the line to the wastegate and bleed signal off as required to achieve boost levels in excess of what the spring would allow. Is that correct?

If so, what's the second port for? Should I just leave it unconnected, or what do I do with it?

Thanks!
Dave

The second port is used in CO2 based systems and certain electronic boost control devices. Here's an example with our boost control solenoid.
