sooo? your the twin turbo guy. Gotta love it. Ilove this theoretical shlt. When people say you cant do it and you prove them wrong in a major way.

Anyway I would love to know the sience behind expansion chambers and turbos in relation to eachother. I have done
some exhaust research and studied some papers on exhaust gas pulse wave scavenging (Headers/x pipe for my 454).

I just turboed my 95 cx hatch. A lot of people said It would blow up. I say Ha.

I'm sticking to 2 strokes to eliminate as many variables as possible. A 2 stroke is damn near impossible to blow up. I used to sit in the street on a 6th gear linelock and not let off till the coolant starts bubling and the entire expansion chambers glowed red. (I'll post pics when I find them) After letting it cool down it ran 100%.

I ran into this one kid today, he saw my Civic and I told him what I was doing to the Banshee and he's giving me FREE dyno tuning!!! He works at a bike shop so that'll help tuning it right.

After talking to him we're using CV carbs. They basically act like an FMU. We're not sure if we're going to use a single car or 2.

ok, i didnt read every post so i dont know whats been said. I know a guy with a turbocharged lt500 and hes running a t3. Im not sure the trim or anything but do know its a t3. 2-strokes emit so much more exhaust gasses than a 4-stroke. thats why deisel trucks have such huge turbos. and on that turbocharged scooter idea. borg waner makes some little turbos about the size of a fist.

a diesel isn't a 2-stroke motor. A 2 stroke doesn't have a valvetrain, instead it has reed valves.

A diesel motor uses compression to cause a combustion. They have such huge turbos becuase their compression ratio is insane

some diesels are two strokes, Gmc gimmy engines, They will not run without boost. Were do you think 6-71 blowers origanaly came from not v8's, And most have valves, I change valve springs all the time to run exhast brakes at my shop.

actually buddy some are, just beacause its a 2 strkoe doesnt mean it cant have valves. 2-stroe just menasit makes two strokes for one cycle. boysen is woring on a head for 2-strokes, using valves to help with emaissions cause they are banning them in 2006 if they cant come up with some way to lower emissions.
