When did I ever say gm cars were easy to work on? Try doing a lim gasket on a 3400 every 20k miles, not fun. And pretty much every HO gm car Ive seen has ran high 14's to low-mid 15's bone stock or close to it. Pretty much everything you compare it to was boosted, these are N/A. Tell me a bone stock d series can pull high 14's...yea right.

Funny you saying mines gona blow up, Ive seen alot more hondas blow up than quad's, boosted or not; though everyone and their mother has a honda so its more common. The cams do on sit in their own "heads", their called cam carriers/towers. Coil pack, yes its a bad design just because of the heat from the engine which Ive swapped to an external coil setup from a 2.2 ohv. The only things I dont like about these motors are yes the timing cover has to be pulled to do anything motor wise, and the lack of space..but once again, its not a honda.

I suppose your gona tell me ecotecs and LSx's are pieces of ---- as well because their ade by gm?

lol no there parts arent more valuable. HAHAHA stupidest thing i've ever heard. There in the junkyards cuz people buy them and break them and then realize there not worth it to fix them so they pay the junkyard 50bux to get the pos out of there drive way. thats why there's a billion sohc dodge neons in the yard too.
