HOw to hook up oil catch can, D16Y8?

let me know if this is a bad or good idea, but i plan to tee the pcv valve line to the vc line that goes to the intake arm, then finally head out to the catch can, and the other port on the catch can with a filter. wouldn't that work since the crank case pressure would be pushing the vaports to the catch.
