HELP ME!! B16 turbo ques.
as of right now i have a b16A jap spec swapped into my 00 civic Si. Here are the parts that i had just installed:
eBay .57 trim turbo
b cast turbo mani
38mm ebay wastegate (im set at 7psi)
godspeed intercooler
hks b.o.v
3" downpipe
godspeed radiator
note: everything else is completely stock, no fmu, missing links, fpr, injectors or anything like that.
my main questions are; do i need to gap my spark plugs, do i need to retard or advance my timing? i have other ques. but none i can think of, please tell me what you think i should add, shop tells me i dont need any fuel systems(injectors, fuel pumps etc) if i want just a daily driver running 7psi on 91 octane, i never drive past 6k rpm so i dont care much for having a really powerful car, i just want ur suggestions on how i should street tune the car, i know enough to know that a street tune with normal driving wont destroy my engine, so all im asking is, what are ur suggestions on what i should do(in my own garage wise) to my car to make it just run normal and safe for a daily without programming the ecu or taking it to a shop for tune and dyno, thanks and sorry for the long reading.

find another shop cuz they r smoking something. U need bigger injectors @ lest 310 which I still think r to small so go with the 440cc.
Now that u got that u need a way to controll them. Best way is to don grade to obd1 and run a chiped ecu.
Now if u can't. Downgrade (emission) then @lest run 440cc injectors with an afc hack. Because the way they r telling is is going to blow your motor the first time it hit boost.
The map sensor will freak out and throw a cel then your stock 250 injectors will max out and ur run lean then boom.

maybe not injectors, but atleast an fmu. if you dont want power, why are you even boosting your car? no tune and no fuel management is asking for trouble. if you run it like that you are most likely just going to lose power. but if you really want to, give it a shot, let us know how expensive the repairs are

I could not agree more. ^^^ you need fuel management that's for sure. a chiped ecu is your best choice, then an afc hack comes as your second choice . and i would recomande a 345cc injectors from an h22 for the afc hack so you don't advance the timing so much.

thanks for the input, i do want the power but thats not really my main concern as far as the fact that i just want to kno that if i need to i can put some gas on it and pull, for the chipped ecu factor what would that require me getting? and by getting the chipped ecu does that go along with me getting a slightly larger fuel injectors?
thanks for the input guys
