Exhaust Pipe Diameter
I've searched the forums and the google but can't seem to find a definitive answer on this...
What are the factors in determining the exhaust pipe size from the manifolds to the turbine inlet? I'm using a single 94mm garrett turbo with a 1.41 a/r on a 454 with oval port heads. I was planning on 2.5", which math tells me would be well over the area of the T6 flange, but I'm a turbo rookie and not sure what to take into consideration.
