any s2000 guys?
Ok so I got my 02 s2k a while back and joined an online club to swap ideas etc. And found that No one on that site thinks u can build a kit cheap..... they all seem to think unless u pay $5000+ plus its gonna be junk, not work, etc. So as usual I'm back hanging with the guys I'm used to that build things cheap and eat the guys that spent all that money on somethings *** at the track every year... lol anyone on here dealt with building a kit for an S2000 yet?

check with PFabrications. i believe they have a full kit, but you can also just piece together a kit. that is what i did. i got the log manifold, intercooler piping, and 3" v-band downpipe. They are very helpfull and have reasonable pricing on their parts.
As im sure your aware, piecing together a kit is much more time consuming. i cant even tell you how many times i had to run to the local autoparts store because i had forgot something. In-between work and play, i had a total down time of like 2 months before i got every thing put back together. There was alot of custom work involved like intercooler mounting, exhaust, battery relocation (because of the top mount manifold).
All in all, it was all worth it when it was completed. i ended up just using a t3/t4 50 trim turbo for quick spool. and used a 38mm tial wastegate (vented to atmosphere) and also 50mm tial bov.
i used greddy e-manage for tuning plus 750cc rc engineering injectors but, due to lack of a tuner in my area i ended up going back to stock and selling the car.
i have some pics that i'll probably post later on tonite.
any questions just ask.
thanks, ryan
