sorry if i didn't make that part clear, I meant I started out with just fmy and inline pump, then upgraded too 450's and afc, then finally I went uberdata street tuned on WB. Hol ----, u kidding me, fmu, 450's, afc for fuel? lOl!! a vegitable can figure what's gonna happen with that combo of fuel setup.

You would think. You don't know how many threads I have read where people were using that setup. Why are my spark plugs black as oil and why am I smoking thick black smoke?

i ran my b7 from 350 miles and the head lifted and i burnt the hg.. other then that.. im sure the b7 is just as strong.. considering suchs facts like the road bearings are skinnier in size.. which = less metal to metal contact. less frictions.. it usses a paper headg gasket.. i would suggest getting a z6 gasket and some arps with a street tune.. atleast a basemap with some 450's

My b7 seems happy at 11psi with a t3 .42/.48ar. A good tune is the key, and mine may get a dyno session soon on 14psi.

I agree with pretty much every post here, I think based on the pattern of boost setup's the key when boosting D and B series motors is proper maint. and safe tune.

I've seen a B7 bottum end even with the notoriously weak rods sustain daily driving after a mini-me conversion, multiple boost setups running anywhere from 6-8psi, a 35 shot of nitrous setup.. dry kit, ect... B7 stock bottom end but proper maint and not being a complete jackass.

I think a huge downfall that alot of guys do with stock D series motors when they are tuning is pushing the redline, keep the stop redline and she should be fine, atleast for awhile. Monitor the fuel, oil, and water pump assuming you are running stock.

my 2cents.
