Default 94 mustang gt turbo help

Alright. Well I have given up (for now) on trying to figure out if an h1e exhaust housing will fit an h2d turbo. However, I would like to hear what people thing about the h2d turbo and what might I expect out of it for a very stock mustang.

In short, did i go just a little too big or can this work?

h2d is a rather large turbo. specifically designed for large displacement diesel engines. your engine may spin it but its going to be at the top of the rpm range. i would go with a different turbo. a t70 with t4 inlet flange will work nicely.

Thank you for the input. I know that it is a big turbo somewhere around hx50 size wise, but the engine that it was on I believe was a 10l Volvo which probably hit full boost around 1500rpm. On my 5.0 would there be any way to maybe make it spool up quicker so it would be usable? I know that on the newer holders some housings are swapped and I have seen a 16cm housing for the h1c and was wondering, if maybe this housing could work or be made to work.

the only way to make it spin faster is by using a smaller exhaust housing. it would be easier to use a different turbo.
