5-bolt T3 downpipe flange - different sizes?
Hey peeps,
I've got a Garrett T3 .48/.60 which I'm 90% sure is off a Ford. It came with internal wastegate in the downpipe but I am changing it to external wastegate due to A/C. I ordered a generic 5-bolt T3 downpipe flange which arrived this morning but it's too small!
The question is, are there different sized 5-bolt T3 outlets?
Here is a pic of the actual flange with the dimensions on it:

and these are the dimensions of the actual outlet on the turbo:

Cheers,
Rob

standard t3
ford t3
and
mercedes t3
i had the same problem also, i had to get the mercedes one which is the hardest one to find and i thing the biggest, i ended up finding it but i was also told all you have to do is notch out where the holes are on teh flange and use washers to hold it to the turbo.
standard t3 flange made to fit
standard compared to stock
standard compared to mercedes

Yeah that's a late Saab turbo.
It's a 0.48 tubine but it was redesigned LARGER to eliminate the dump hole cracking problem.
It's a wonderfull turbine and is well worth the custom work of making your own flange.
Oh, and AFAIK, All thunderbird, Xr4ti, turbocoupe and mustang SVO turbines have the standard T3 5 bolts pattern. 0.48 and 0.63. that's the model that cracks accross te dump hole.
