it was not intended to be an ignorant comment, just an IMHO one...
i just see kia as being a car that is thrown together, and then has a bunch of plastic that will fade in about 5 months convering it.. kinda like every other half *** made car (hyundai) being an example.. i worked with kia's, hyundai's and every other used car you can think of for the last year and a half.. i have personally seen countless times a kia with 10K miles on it that had faded headlights, and 3 of the 4 windows would barely go up, and if they went up they didnt even sit right. i just think, for the money.. honda makes a great hatch that will last forever, and with a setup like that be fast as hell also. lol, just imo . not meaning to be rude. everyone to their own cup of tea.

I still have dreams to build an N/A beast, but right I got the chance to really take it to the limit and I will.

Only plastic on my 02 Spectra is some interior panels, same as most sport compacts, unlike the sub-compacts. A Honda will not last forever either. NO car lasts here in MI. Everyone is familiar with "Honda Rot", especially up here. I will agree some of the Kia models are very cheap, mainly the Rios or old Kia's. I speak for this engine and model only and that is about all lol I am not a Kia fanboy that is for sure. But Kia not getting respect in the aftermarket is what makes this build that much more fun and unique. Anyway, I'm not going to debate about "Kia's"; no need. This build is about this car and engine, not the brand.

yea that i can handle. its just one of those things, you know? when im with people alot of the times and theyre all about their mustang gt's and camaro's then they ask what im building.. i tell them its a honda and then its a fight to keep my dignity! its just like that, thats all... for the time and money i personally would have built somehting a little different.

Why would somebody waste 5, 10, 20 thousand on a honda civic when they could buy a nicer car. I think the build is sweet and cant wait to see it running. People spend a ton of money on Volkswagons and I dont get it but if thats what they want to do then its all good. Hell people spend thousands of dollars on paintball guns or bicycles and you cant drive a paintball gun and you cant go more than 35mph on a bike.
