v6 camry turbo
i already have the ct26 and according to a thread in here it's 5psi stock i don't want a massive amount of boost i just want to use it stock. it will be there just so i can say "yeah my wagon is boosted"
now since i got that out the way.
i have installed a 7mgte fpr i got the fuel pump also and am going to install that too but the question is am i ok to run this turbo on this 1mzfe motor at stock boost pressure? they sell a supercharger for this engine(4psi) but ofcourse there is no intercooler on my setup there will be. so am i ok and do i really need all the other expensive ----?

Re: v6 camry turbo
The difference is that the TRD supercharger @ 4psi only makes 240bhp, while the CT-26A will make right at 300bhp @ 5psi. You'll need some form of engine piggyback to make that work. With just the 315cc, pump @ FPR, you'll run very rich in vacuum, and very lean under boost.
1mz-fe's have a bad reputation for being weak engines under boost. They can make 350 easy enough, but the key is great tuning. The pistons, ring lands & rings will melt if you're lean & have the hammer down.

I decided to do a turbo upgrade on my Silverado. A good way to do this is to use a turbocharger to increase the pressure in the intake system by using energy from the exhaust gas. I have already found https://nashvilleperformance.com/sil...5-3-turbo-kit/ and all the necessary elements for the upgrade, one of these days it's time to do it.

I imagine after all this time you picked a better turbo such as a gtx28 or gtx30.
Did you get any dyno numbers?

What did your combo end up being?. You were mentioning CT26 turbo and 5psi in your original post. Toysrme mentioned you would need a piggyback to make it all work.
