Thanks guys for all the compliments, from what I've read noobs often get "flamed" hehe.

Well I managed to get it on the road tonight! Did a little testing, nothing too crazy. The wastegate spring is set for 3.6 PSI and I'm seeing a little over 3 PSI on the gauge (I know, I know, that's weak boost). I will definitely need to turn up the boost a little as I get it tuned. The BOV sounds awesome, not too loud but definitely noticeable if I'm at full boost and close the throttle. It does the pulsing sound if you know what I'm talking about. I'm sure it will be much louder as I turn up the boost. It was going into boost at around 2.5k RPM and was at full boost around 3k RPM. It felt pretty good and seemed to pull harder the more times we tried it. I believe the turbo is breaking in so it's spinning easier as it gets loosened up. I also believe it takes some time for the ECU to reset itself and compensate for the new data. This happen to anyone else?

For tuning I have equipment to burn my own EPROM chips for my ECU and it's been modified so I can swap chips easily. It's almost the exact same type of tuning the 300Z guys do. I have access to a few different fuel/timing maps and can tweak the maps as needed. I also have a Zietronics wideband O2 sensor to install that plugs into my laptop as well as the hardware and software to plug into my OEM ECU and view the parameters. I should be able to get it tuned with some trial and error. Once I get it dialed in pretty good and the 2nd stage boost switch in I will be getting on the dyno again. I also have my stock ECU and had that one installed for my first road tests as the current tune on my modded ECU runs more timing and I think fuel is a bit on the lean side.

That oil return sight glass turned out to be really awesome. I can easily see that the oil is circulating and after I shut off the motor I keep the pump running for a bit and can tell when the oil is purged from the turbo and lines. I highly recommend this <$10 option to anyone running a scavenge oil pump.

I will get a few videos made in the next day or two and get them posted. I'll get a variety of shots, drive by's, etc. I don't think an in-car video would be very exciting but let me know if you want to see something specific.

Here's a shot of the gauges

for a start, its 280ps which is 276hp, not 300, then he says normal is 240whp, which is about right all things considered.
