Put another 40 or so miles on the turbo. Still hasn't failed.

Definitley is slow spooler, although tuning might help some. Gas milage is going to be atrocious for awhile till I get tuned as I a fearful of leaning it out, although 8 psi I could probably run 14-1 and be safe. Full bost of wastegate is 8 psi @ 4250 or so. I can see these turbos being Honda happier than low rpm Subaru happy.

Power delivery is SMOOTH though. Lets say you are in 3rd and 2500 rpm. Mash the gas. Buhhhhhhhhh for a bit (not totally doggy), then Wahhhhhhh, then comes 4250 and WHEEEEEEEE till redline (6500 for me). You definitely get kicked back at 4250, and then the power is totally flat. And in a good way. There is NO drop off all the way to redline, but no huge climb either. Its just like 80 hp was suddenly added across the board.

So I am damn happy so far. Obviously not a monster, but until I can get it tuned (and install larger injectors! just running 440cc for now), I can bomb around to my hearts content.

I will install larger injectors and turn the boost up some when I have the spare money to do a dyno tune..... My plan is about 225-250 @ the wheels on a Dyno Dynamics dyno, 12 psi?

Yes.

I actually have a 96 or 97 JDM WRX ecu, with most of the wiring harness.... Just a combination of kinda lazy and not sure which vehicle to put it on. The Daily Devil (as it has now been named) was possibly going to get it, but since this setup is pretty damn bulletproof at the lower boost levels, I don't really want to waste the effort/spend the time on this wagon...
