Yeah, Im not a big fan of the pipes sticking out of the bottom. But its the only way I could route them. I didnt want to cut through the radiator support, Its not some thin sheet metal. And the area around that is the headlights. I could have put one horizantly mounted like the procharger kits. But that limits you to small sizes. And these cast pistons hate detonation, so I need that 15psi as cool as can be.
But I do actually like the look...I think its just because its a dakota, and you shouldnt see that in a dakota..you should expect to see a 60 year old man hauling his grand sons new bike in the back.
looks nice, good to see something different... really do we need to post ****? **** is so accessible nowdays, with redtube, youporn, tnaflix... im gonna be called gay for saying i dont care that he didnt post it, but whatever.
Hey, new here...looking forward to sharing a few words with some peeps on here.
Anyways, just finished up my turbo system for my 1996 dodge dakota. Started from scratch and made a pretty good system. Theres a few things I would do different next time. Like using stainless for the log instead of aluminzed. That ---- sucks to weld.
System utilizes a Garret t04e turbo charger, 1.00 turbine, and .70 compressor
tial 38mm wastegate
bar/plate intercooler made to size
Aeromotive digital FMU and inline booster for the fuel control.
Anyways heres a few boner poppers.
I am wanting to do the same thing and if it's no big deal would you be able to tell me what you used to build these, like tube sizes
