I am interested in this also as I am turboing a 4AGZE (converted to strictly turbo) in a 86 MR2.

Which Honda ECU would be best? Also are you using crome or another tune set-up?

i'm using crome. if i had the spare $$ i'd be using ectune, hands down.

i'm using a P75 with the VTEC and IAB bits added. i use the P72 code base so i can control the TVIS. any chippable OBD1 ECU will do though. P06s are usually the cheapest.

the wiring was tricky... most of the sensor are honda but a few of them are toyota
the last thing i need to figure out is the vss.
but over this winter it is gonna be boosted
log manifold, 20g turbo, evo8 bov, ebay fmic, boost here i come

it run and drive i would agree it idle better then the stock toyota ems
